Turn Social Connections Into Loyal Customers with Sprout Social

Sprout Social Media Monitoring

Last week I began compiling a list of social media monitoring tools each company or organization should have in their social media kit. So far, I have reviewed Social Mention, Trackur and Radian6 (my favorite so far). Let’s continue with Sprout Social.

What is Sprout Social?

Sprout Social was created to help your business harness the power of the social web and turn social connections into loyal customers. Your customers are on the social web, and more and more they turn to their browser to make informed decisions. Sprout Social helps keep you involved in the conversation, engage and grow your audience and drive real revenue for your business with easy to use tools and baked-in best practices.

Sprout Social sounds like Trackur and Radian6 but so far the only difference I notice is the Sprout model aims to help drive real-time revenue for your business or organization. The biggest question among top CEO’s is how is social media driving value and our favorite buzzwords, ROI and ROE.

You have to pay to realize the value of Sprout Social and again the CEO’s and COO’s will be asking for the value of a social media reputation management tool.

Explain to your senior management that the social web is a playground for customers and clients to talk about them. The conversation can be good, negative and/or neutral.

No more are the days of, “Hey, I got this new Blackberry today and I like it.” Nowadays, people are saying, “Hey, I got the new Blackberry Curve 9330 and the features are phenomenal and if you are in the market for a good phone please go with the Curve 9330.” Customers and clients are getting detailed in their approach on how they interact with likeable and not-so-good brands. Let senior management know you need the most detailed outlook on how your brand is perceived on the social web and you need the creme of the crop monitoring tool.

Lastly, explain to senior management that this tool can save you valuable work hours and can be monitored throughout the day without lifting much a finger. Social media management tools are a one-stop shop for all your monitoring, engagement and analysis needs.

Such tools make your day productive and give effective tools to keep tabs on the company social presence. Make sure to fit in all those keywords.

It is safe to say this tool is affordable and accessible to agency level marketers, consultants, public relations specialist, larger organizations and much more.

I have yet to try this tool out but I like that it is affordable and someone like me that is falling into consultant work can use at the professional or business plan level.

Sprout Social offers similar services as Trackur and Radian6 but only time will tell how different they are.
